  • Thirty-Three New Act Six Scholars Named
    The Northwest Leadership Foundation, Whitworth University, Pacific Lutheran University, Northwest University and Gonzaga University are very proud to announce that the following students have been named Act Six scholars for 2010. Collectively, their scholarships are worth nearly $5 million over four years.  Read the full press release.

    Following community celebration events, scholars begin an intensive seven-month training program that involves weekly meetings with Act Six staff, retreats and campus visits.

  • Act Six Celebrates Cadre Three Graduates
    On May 17, the third cadre of Tacoma Act Six scholars graduated from Whitworth University with records of distinguished leadership, service and academic achievement.  By December 2009, 30 of the original 31 scholars in the first three cadres will have earned their bachelor's degree.
